About

My name is Ron Tebo, and I am aPickleball at YMCA disabled American veteran with a VA rating; however, the rating is not critical—you’re important. My passion has always been helping those in need, and this website resonates deeply with me. I have volunteered for our church, volunteered at our local YMCA, and served food to the hungry. I am currently dedicating my time to assisting veterans in need, and it is a gratifying experience.

How it all started

Although I joined the military when I was 17, I remember my mom asking me if I wanted to before she signed the papers. I attended Fort Jackson for basic training and graduated in December 1980. After a hiatus, I was assigned to Fort Sam Houston for a temporary duty before proceeding to Fort Leonard Wood in January 1981.

I retired early from I.T. and am now developing this blog for my fellow veterans.
