I am actively communicating (via emails, for example) with large corporations and informing CEOs, CFOs, and owners about the challenges faced by regular veterans. Many people show support for veterans, but some do so purely for commercial gain and shamelessly exaggerate this support.

While the US government can only do so much, some businesses have recognized the struggles and have taken meaningful action to support veterans. Many veterans lack the means to travel for groceries or to attend medical appointments. In order for a veteran to receive much-needed medical care, some companies have stepped up and donated cars. Some businesses have helped veterans in need by providing free travel or free accommodations. God bless you and congratulations if this is your company.

As a veteran, I am aware of the mental and physical challenges that can make it difficult to lead a healthy lifestyle. At Step Out Veterans, we seek to celebrate everything wonderful about life, which leads us to “step out” and promote healthy living for veterans who have served their country.

How I Can Assist

As an IT specialist, I can instruct veterans who are not tech-savvy on how to use the VA website, draft grammatically correct letters, and provide advice on how to submit a claim—all guidance at no cost.
