I intended to abandon this website and pursue other endeavors; however, this narrative motivated me to persist.
One of the most rewarding moments in this line of work is the phone call or handshake that informs you a veteran’s claim has been approved. I am deeply humbled to share that another veteran has successfully received the assistance they needed through Stepoutveterans to file their VA claim.
Frank (his real name), the veteran, and I had the opportunity to meet at his residence a few weeks ago. Frank was unaware of the process for filing a claim for his hearing and tinnitus. We sat for an hour, and I guided Frank through the filing process. Knowing the military already had his records and that he was being treated by the VA for hearing, I knew this claim should be approved without issue.
Frank’s claim results have been received, and he is currently rated at 30%. I am delighted to inform you of this development.

Filing a disability claim can be a challenge.

When we sit down with a veteran to help them file a claim, we aren’t just filling out paperwork. We are listening to their story. We are validating their experiences. We are making it clear that their service mattered and that they are not forgotten.
Today, celebrating this recent success is a reminder of why this work matters so much. But it is also a call to action. Countless veterans still struggle in silence, unaware of the benefits they qualify for or exhausted by the fight to get them.
